On October 23, the Food of Tomorrow Institute participated in the webinar “Debate Series – Feeding Cities,” organized by the Department for the Promotion of Adequate and Healthy Food (SESAN/MDS). The virtual meeting discussed horizontal cooperation as a strategy to strengthen the urban food agenda, bringing together representatives from cities, cooperation networks, and civil society. Our director, Francine Xavier, presented experiences from LUPPA – Urban Laboratory for Public Food Policies, highlighting how cities can develop integrated, participatory, and systemic food policies, strengthen cooperation networks, and address challenges to ensure more sustainable urban food systems.
