COP30, held in Belém, marked a historic moment for Brazil and for the global debate on climate and the agri-food system. Now is the time to assess the outcomes of this meeting: what progress has been made, what opportunities have opened up, and what challenges remain. The meeting will bring together researchers, civil society representatives, and experts to take stock of the impressions and outcomes of COP30 from the perspective of a just and sustainable transition of the agri-food system. There will also be a discussion on the next steps to strengthen a dialogue that more effectively connects the agri-food agenda with the agendas of health, the environment, and social justice.
