A laboratory of fantastic stories about food for the youngest
Poliniza Buzz is an immersive laboratory to produce children’s books about food. Its mission is to ensure that all children have access to at least one book on transforming Brazilian food systems before they reach 8 years of age.
The books approach food through a systemic lens, considering interconnected steps involving production, distribution and consumption of food and its various relations. Integrating this vision into children’s books is a way to present food as a central agenda within the major social challenges and transformations.
The Poliniza Buzz methodology allows the books to be produced collaboratively, in a one-week period, and all the stories are inspired by real cases and/or by people who are transforming food systems.
