Second Meeting of the Food for Cities Strategy – November 7
The Second Meeting of the Food for Cities Strategy was held in Brasilia on November 6 and 7, 2024, with the aim of discussing the first year of implementation of the strategy, launched in 2023 to promote access to healthy food in vulnerable urban areas. At the meeting, the Mapping of Food Deserts and Food Swamps was presented and a publication was launched with food security experiences in 57 municipalities, in addition to formalizing the entry of 23 new cities into the Strategy.
