The Policy Paper “The PNAE as a driver of agroecological transition in Brazil: incentives and institutional arrangements for public procurement of healthy and sustainable food” highlights the strategic role of the National School Feeding Program (PNAE) in transforming food systems by connecting school meals to the promotion of diverse, healthy and environmentally responsible production models. The research was developed by the Comida do Amanhã Institute, in partnership with the Regenera Institute, the Zero Hunger Institute and the WFP Brazil Center of Excellence against Hunger.
