The programs at the Comida do Amanhã Institute put into practice our mission to transform food systems through concrete experiences, built in partnership with different actors and territories. These are initiatives that articulate public policies, educational practices, knowledge production and social mobilization, always counting on a systemic, intersectoral and participatory approach.
Each program is created with the purpose of generating real impact on urban and school food systems – whether by supporting cities in the development of integrated policies, as in LUPPA; by strengthening school meals with healthy food from family farming, as in the PNAE Agroecológico and Terra Nutre projects; by creating spaces for awareness and active listening, as in Poliniza and Café com o Comida; by bringing society closer to global debates on climate and food, as in the initiative Na Mesa da COP30; by qualifying the public debate and producing applied knowledge, such as in Inteligência; or by expanding the agenda of healthy and sustainable food systems in strategic decision-making and cooperation spaces, such as the program Incidência em Espaços de Advocacy.
Ranging from the exchange of experiences between civil society organizations to strategic participation in international events, the Institute’s programs are the territory in which our strategies take shape and the issues we advocate for come to life – connecting people, territories and policies in favor of a fairer, healthier and more sustainable food future.
