The Comida do Amanhã Institute adopts a systemic approach to fostering fairer and more sustainable food systems, interconnecting themes such as food security, climate change, governance, biodiversity and the strengthening of local economies.
Through programs such as PNAE Agroecológico, which promotes family farming in schools, the Amazônia nas Escolas program, which incorporates food from the local socio-biodiversity into school meals, and LUPPA, which supports the formulation of integrated public food policies, we seek to strengthen social participation and ensure access to healthy food. Initiatives such as the COP30 Food Initiative Coalition address the interactions between climate and food, while the Alimenta Cidades Strategy promotes food democracy, and Poliniza uses food stories to raise awareness about the future of food systems.
By integrating these actions, we work to position food as a central pillar of sustainable, democratic, and resilient public policies. .
